Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Program Manager Admin to lead and coordinate complex programs within our organization. This role is vital in ensuring seamless program development, execution, and management across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a strong background in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma. As a Program Manager Admin, you will drive process improvements, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and oversee project portfolios to deliver strategic objectives efficiently and effectively. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational growth and operational excellence. Based on our government contracts, US Citizenship is required. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and implementation of programs by applying comprehensive project management methodologies. Coordinate multiple projects within the program portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct detailed requirements analysis to define scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery while controlling costs through effective budgeting and cost control measures. Conduct root cause analysis and risk management activities to proactively identify issues and implement mitigation strategies. Oversee vendor management processes including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and service level agreements. Utilize data analysis skills to monitor project performance metrics like earned value management (EVM) and develop comprehensive reports for stakeholders. Foster team collaboration through meeting facilitation, conflict management, and leadership in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning or Kanban boards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles like Kaizen to enhance processes across the program lifecycle. Ensure quality management standards are maintained throughout project execution by implementing process mapping, process management techniques, and technical writing for documentation. Skills Extensive experience in program development, design, and implementation within a structured project management lifecycle. Proficiency with project management software including Jira, Trello, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Six Sigma frameworks. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management capabilities across diverse functions. Expertise in business process modeling, requirements gathering/analysis, scope management, and process mapping. Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and present complex information clearly. Proven ability in negotiation, conflict resolution, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement. Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure projects using tools like Visio or ERP systems; familiarity with data collection/analysis tools such as SAS is a plus. Organizational skills with a focus on project scheduling (Microsoft Project), time management (Workday), risk assessment (Risk Management), and project portfolio management (PPM tools). Knowledge of contract administration and work within frameworks like PMBOK or PRINCE2 to ensure compliance with industry standards.
