Commercial Data Change Manager (6-Month Contract | Likely to Extend)Location:
Onsite 3 days/week (Greater Atlanta Area - office relocating from Duluth to Johns Creek this summer) We are seeking a Commercial Data Change Manager to lead cross-functional data governance and operational change initiatives across commercial business functions. This role is highly visible and plays a key part in ensuring data changes are executed smoothly, risks are mitigated, and business and technical teams remain aligned. Contract Details 6-month contract (very strong likelihood of extension)Onsite:
3 days per week (one day must be Monday or Friday) Pay rate: up to $65/hourStart:
ASAP What You'll Do Lead end-to-end management of commercial data changes from intake through execution Translate business needs into actionable deliverables for technical and analytics teams Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Commercial Excellence, IT, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service Oversee data governance alignment, ensuring policies, standards, and SOPs are updated as systems/processes evolve Manage platform and access-related transitions (e.g., ServiceNow to Collibra-type migrations) Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and high-impact change items to leadership Drive root cause analysis and resolution of operational data issues Organize and govern structured meetings with clear outcomes, accountability, and follow-through Define and track KPIs tied to data change performance, customer impact, and operational efficiency What Success Looks Like Reduced disruption from commercial data changes Stronger alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams Faster, more reliable resolution of data-related issues Clear, up-to-date data standards and SOPs across teams Smooth execution of platform transitions with minimal business interruption What We're Looking For 7+ years in program management, operations, or cross-functional leadership roles Strong background in data governance, change management, or technical/business program delivery Experience working with SQL / Snowflake (basic querying preferred) Familiarity with data platforms such as Collibra (plus) Exposure to BI tools like Tableau (nice to have) Strong communicator comfortable working 80% with business stakeholders / 20% with technical teams Ability to operate independently and confidently in a matrixed environment Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred) Why This Role This is a high-impact role focused on stabilizing and improving how commercial data changes are managed across the organization.
