Job Description
Description We are looking for a Change Management/Project Consultant to support high-visibility product and commercialization initiatives for a well-established consumer brand organization in Northern Kentucky area. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a project-driven individual who can guide cross-functional teams, keep complex workstreams moving, and strengthen adoption of structured change practices across the business. The role suits someone who learns quickly, communicates effectively with varied stakeholders, and brings hands-on experience leading launch-related activities from planning through post-implementation review. New product development/CPG experience is highly desired. This could be a remote role as well.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end coordination of product launch, commercialization, and business change initiatives, ensuring key milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Partner with marketing, sales, research and development, and operational stakeholders to define objectives, establish timelines, and align deliverables.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, track dependencies, and identify risks early to keep initiatives progressing smoothly.
- Provide clear updates to leadership and project teams on status, issues, priorities, and performance indicators.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to resolve obstacles, support decision-making, and maintain momentum across competing priorities.
- Support adoption of project governance standards, stage-gate practices, and change management methods to improve consistency and execution quality.
- Coordinate testing, lab trial, and commercialization activities as part of launch readiness and implementation planning.
- Review outcomes after launch or implementation to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure records align with business and compliance expectations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience leading projects or change initiatives in a cross-functional business environment.
- Demonstrated background in new product development, commercialization, or launch execution, ideally within a manufacturing or consumer goods setting.
- Strong working knowledge of change management, organizational change management, user adoption, and business process improvement principles.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and achieve results without direct supervisory authority.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, along with project scheduling or project management tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma exposure, or related process improvement training is preferred.
