Job Description

The OC&T Consultant role will provide value to the Organizational Change & Training (OC&T) practice and Cognizant by pursuing team and organizational goals, operating with a client-first mindset, and exemplifying the company core values in an effort to achieve meaningful results.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as support resource on projects, responsible for owning and executing a workstream or sub-workstream (e.g., Communications, Training).
  • Apply Cognizant's change management and training methodology to projects on which they are assigned.
  • Support and seek out internal OC&T projects and initiatives to improve skillset and expertise.
  • Serve as a Training or Culture Buddy for OC&T new hires.
  • Produce organized, coherent, clear, and high-quality work product with limited review or oversight.
  • May support small sales efforts, including responding to RFPs and shadowing scoping calls (as determined by OC&T Staffing team).
  • Demonstrated understanding of Change Management concepts and how they align with both OC&T and CYNERGY® methodologies to execute an OC&T project, as evidenced by successful development and delivery of OC&T activities and major project deliverables.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, as evidenced by regularly interfacing with client, and successfully developing and facilitating many OC&T activities.
  • Successfully participate in at least 1-2 projects, typically serving as the OC&T Principal, owning a workstream (e.
g., Communications, Training) or as the OC&T Lead on smaller engagements.
Duties and Tasks:
  • Conduct Peer Interviews (1st round interviews with prospective candidates) - as determined by the OC&T leadership team.
  • Take ownership of own career development, including consultative and professional development skills, with support from Manager and other mentors.
  • Periodically review SOW and develops initial forecast and expected hours for OC&T workstream, with support from Change Architect.
  • Manage own time effectively while in larger, more involved project roles, at times across multiple projects, while also supporting internal initiatives.
  • Support and seek out internal OC&T projects and initiatives to improve skillset and expertise.
  • Contribute to lessons learned on projects and suggest improvements for future OC&T projects.
  • Active on MS Teams (shares collateral, collaborates with fellow teammates, poses questions, answers others' questions, etc.)
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
Skills & Requirements:
  • 1 years' experience with Workday
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Current Workday Core HCM or Core Financials certification or ability to acquire it within 28 days of offer
  • Understanding of change management and training concepts as evidenced by internship, academic, or prior work experience, and understanding of how they work together to execute an OC&T project
  • AI-related change management experience preferred Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until 08/19/2026 The annual salary for this position is between $106,282 - $134,415 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
