As an Organizational Development Consultant supporting the Aeronautics business, you will partner with leaders and Human Resources teams to improve organizational performance, enable business transformation, and support large scale workforce and operational change initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, modernize organizational practices, and help teams adapt to evolving business and technology demands. The Organizational Development Consultant will lead organizational effectiveness, organizational design, and change management initiatives that support business transformation and operational excellence. This role is responsible for assessing organizational structures, facilitating organizational change, improving team effectiveness, and aligning workforce strategies with enterprise objectives. The position partners closely with executive leaders, Human Resources professionals, and cross functional stakeholders across the business.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will support enterprise transformation and organizational effectiveness initiatives across multiple business functions and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead organizational design and organizational effectiveness projects that align business strategy, workforce structure, and operational goals Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, leadership discussions, and decision making sessions focused on organizational change and team effectiveness Conduct organizational assessments, workforce analysis, and data interpretation to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Develop and implement organizational change management plans that support business transformation initiatives Create executive presentations, communications, reports, and project deliverables that support leadership alignment and execution Partner with Human Resources teams including Talent Management, Learning, and Compensation to deliver organizational development services Provide coaching, consulting, and guidance to Human Resources professionals and business leaders on organizational development methodologies and change management practices Drive initiatives that improve collaboration, workforce agility, productivity, and stakeholder experiences What's In It For You We are committed to supporting your work life balance and overall well being, offering flexible scheduling options. Who You Are:
You are an experienced organizational development and change management professional with strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. You excel at influencing leaders, managing complex transformation initiatives, and translating organizational challenges into scalable business solutions that improve workforce effectiveness and operational performance.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant psychology or business major with a minimum of 8 years professional experience.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources with strong domain expertise in Organizational Effectiveness
  • Demonstrated Organizational Effectiveness experience including leading large-scale organizational design projects, team effectiveness, change management for large-scale projects and leadership intervention
  • Strong project management, organization skills and research skills with the ability to deliver timely, quality products; ability to develop and manage project plans that ensure flawless execution; ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills as demonstrated by the ability to problem solve and recommend creative solutions. Exhibits a solutions-based focus and has the ability to translate decisions into easily understood explanations.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to executive-level leaders
  • Well-developed relationship building and consultative skills, including proven ability to influence without positional power
  • Ability to interact at all organizational levels with credibility, and manage conflict with key stakeholders that results in desired outcomes
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge and demonstrated application of organization development principles such as management and leadership development principles, organizational change management, culture assessments, organization design, team effectiveness, assessment methodologies/tools, coaching and consulting, OD principles, and relevant OD metrics and analytics
  • Ability to think strategically with experience creating and implementing detailed tactical, results-driven plans
  • Experience with organization and change methodologies (Prosci, Galbraith, Change Agility)
  • Ability to apply innovative approaches to existing solutions and using existing tools/processes
  • Experience with research and data collection methods including focus groups, subject matter expert interviews, surveys, etc
  • Experience as a Project Manager having demonstrated results in stakeholder and schedule management
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience managing multiple projects

Full-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
