Oakland Position Summary Provide organizational change management support for Vegetation Management initiatives involving technology, process, workforce, regulatory, and operational change. Work across the organization and with external agencies, business partners, and impacted stakeholders to assess change impacts, prepare the workforce, support adoption, and sustain measurable outcomes. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to report to their assigned office location at least one to two days per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, depending on business needs. The headquarters is located in Oakland, CA. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the job's locality. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate that the successful candidate hired for this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis based on these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

$232,000 Job Responsibilities
    Change Strategy & Planning:
    Assess organizational readiness, stakeholder impacts, adoption risks, and change complexity. Develop practical change plans that align with project objectives, operational needs, regulatory expectations, and business outcomes.
      Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement:
      Partner across Vegetation Management, enterprise functions, project teams, business sponsors, union leadership, external agencies, and impacted stakeholder groups to build alignment, manage expectations, and support successful implementation.
        Communications, Training & Engagement:
        Coordinate communication, learning, and engagement strategies that help employees and partners understand the change, why it matters, and what actions are required. Partner with internal teams or external groups that design, deliver, or support training and communications.
          Adoption & Resistance Management:
          Identify barriers to adoption, people-related risks, and stakeholder concerns. Develop mitigation, reinforcement, and engagement actions to increase readiness and reduce disruption.
            Business Enablement & Reinvention:
            Support strategic initiatives that improve how Vegetation Management operates, adapts, and delivers value. Help translate business strategy into practical changes in processes, roles, tools, behaviors, and ways of working.
              Governance & Integration:
              Embed change management activities into project plans, governance processes, implementation schedules, and decision forums to ensure change impacts are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
                Measurement & Sustainment:
                Track readiness, adoption, engagement, and effectiveness measures. Present findings, recommend adjustments, and support sustainment plans that help ensure changes are adopted and benefits are realized.
                  Continuous Improvement:
                  Apply recognized change management practices, lessons learned, and industry benchmarks to improve change capability and strengthen future Vegetation Management implementations.
                  Qualifications Minimum:
                  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
                  • 10+ years of change management experience on large-scale change projects, including large technology deployments
                  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and training others.
                  Experience with project management practices
                  Desired:
                  • Graduate Degree in organization development or related field
                  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Technical Competencies:
                  • Organizational Change Management Methods including change impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, adoption planning, resistance management, sustainment and benefits realization
                  • Vegetation Management Business Context including knowledge of inspections, work execution, quality management, wildfire risk reduction, and regulatory concerns
                  • Regulatory and External Stakeholder Awareness including familiarity with utility regulatory environment
                  • Training, Communications, and Engagement Practices
                  • Ability to participate as an active project team member & articulate change management approaches, strategies, and plans
                  • Knowledge of IT practices and processes
                  • Executive presence
