Full Job Description Purpose:
FinWise Bank is committed to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence. The Operations Change Coordinator is an important contributor in the process of onboarding new programs, implementing new ideas, and managing change within the Bank and its Strategic Programs to help support this culture. In addition to the onboarding of new strategic programs, the Operations Change Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of changes to existing strategic programs. This position will help coordinate the flow of documents and information between the Strategic Programs and FinWise Bank. The coordinator will ensure requirements and guidelines are followed while maintaining an excellent customer experience for the strategic programs onboarded by the Bank. The Operations Change Coordinator will serve as the key business owner for assigned Bank systems (software applications) used in the Operations department. The coordinator must understand the business use of each operations system, document system controls, enforce bank policy when changing system parameters, serve as the data custodian for that system, assist in the implementation of system changes, and serve as part of the operations system testing function when appropriate. While the Banks IT department will serve as the primary system administrator for user administration, the coordinator will serve as the system business owner and system control administrator for assigned operations system. This role may be expected to interact with and manage vendors on a regular basis.
Tasks:
Ensures the banks requirements are met to successfully onboard and modify strategic programs, while working with program partners, project management, program management and business stakeholders to create an excellent customer experience for the strategic programs Once a new strategic program or change to an existing strategic program has been approved by the Project Steering Working Committee, lead the requirements-gathering and internal education required to plan the action steps needed to onboard the new program or sustainable change in a safe and sound manner Assist in the preparation of risk assessments for strategic programs Ensure bank criteria are satisfied in accordance with established policies and procedures, and the banks defined risk appetite Work with the business and Stakeholders to understand the business needs and vision Work with Program Management and Project Management to maintain urgency to ensure the company's major initiatives with strategic programs are on track despite changing requirements and priorities Engage the business and strategic programs to identify problems and challenges, and to define and prioritize requirements Work with Program Management and Project Management to gather requirements, create and maintain product backlogs and dive into technical details to understand the nuances and complexities of each requirement and backlog item Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure each requirement is broken down enough to convey the exact business need Ensure strategic program work item acceptance criteria for all bank requirements is met, and the fact that it was (or was not) met is clearly documented and communicated Create transparency and clear communication between the bank and the strategic programs by practicing active listening, asking for clarification as needed, and documenting and sharing conversation results Be an enabler of the Agile process among our teams, coach us into stronger communication and provide exceptional customer service Enforce the Banks change management standards and processes for assigned operations systems Assist operations managers in the day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities Monitor, control, and manage operations systems to meet customer expectations and company goals Confirm operations systems parameters are aligned with bank policies and procedures Ensure that all bank system parameter changes are properly documented, tested and approved Create internal test plans for changes to operations systems Serve as an operations resource on many bank initiatives and projects Travel Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. License:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum two years of experience working in a change management environment Three to five years of previous experience in various operations and analytical related work Previous experience as a power user of a business system Preferred Education /Experience /
