a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Business Continuity Specialist Role Overview We re seeking a detailoriented Business Continuity Specialist to join our global Security Governance team. In this role, you ll support the organization s Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program by driving initiatives that strengthen preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities across the enterprise. You ll work with global stakeholders, contribute to risk and resilience efforts, and ensure all continuity planning aligns with ISO 22301 and related industry standards. This role combines analytical work, documentation, coordination, and crossfunctional collaboration to enhance operational resilience. Key Responsibilities Program Execution & Resilience Initiatives Support delivery of highimpact projects across the business continuity and resilience portfolio. Assist with firmwide Resilience Risk Assessments, including site prioritization, data analysis, and consolidated reporting. Technical Recovery & Continuity Planning Coordinate the development of Technical Recovery (TR) plans by gathering requirements, mapping dependencies, and drafting documentation. Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and validation of Business Continuity Plans by collaborating with business units and facilitating review cycles. Exercises, Reviews & Continuous Improvement Support continuity and recovery exercises; document lessons learned, corrective actions, and alignment with program policy. Advance ongoing improvements to increase preparedness and response effectiveness. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with IT, Risk Management, Security, and Operations to ensure consistency across recovery strategies and documentation. Engage crossfunctional teams to maintain alignment with organizational goals and resilience frameworks. Reporting, Metrics & Governance Prepare metrics, progress updates, and reports for senior leadership. Ensure all program deliverables adhere to ISO 22301 and other applicable continuity standards. Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred certifications:
CBCP , ISO 22301
Lead Implementer , MBCI , or similar. Experience 7+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related disciplines. Demonstrated ability in risk assessments, continuity planning, and recovery strategy development. Familiarity with continuity frameworks, including
ISO 22301 , NFPA 1600
, and
NIST SP 80034
. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ServiceNow, Azure, or CMDB systems is a plus. Soft Skills & Competencies Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to collaborate across both technical and operational teams. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving program needs. Skilled at supporting or facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops with exceptional attention to detail.
