This is a 100% onsite role located in Montgomery, Alabama. Our client is a state government agency undertaking a major multi-year transition from a legacy Medicaid system to a modern modular platform involving multiple vendors. You will serve as the primary oversight resource
  • monitoring vendor deliverables, reviewing and approving artifacts, verifying contract compliance, and supporting CMS certification activities.
This is a leadership role, not a support role. What You Will Do Monitor vendor performance against SLAs for incidents, system performance, and deliverables (approximately 50% of time) Review and approve program, project, and software artifacts developed by multiple vendors Verify contract requirements are being met across development, configuration, and operational activities Work directly with business areas to ensure understanding of vendor-proposed solutions Support CMS reporting and certification activities including reviewing and contributing to certification artifacts Identify and report on variances, risks, and issues across the program Facilitate meetings, produce meeting minutes, track action items, and maintain project assets Interface professionally with executives, managers, vendors, and subject matter experts Required Qualifications 5+ years of true MMIS experience
  • required, no exceptions Deep understanding of Medicaid business processes and subsystems including Claims, Prior Authorization, Pharmacy, Managed Care, Provider Enrollment, Eligibility, and HIPAA transactions 10+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst 3+ years of business process modeling and management Experience working in multi-vendor state government environments Strong analytical, problem solving, and business process analysis skills Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Visio, Word, and Teams Understanding of system integrations including interfaces, APIs, and batch processes Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (equivalent experience considered) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years at large multi-contractor organizations including leading centralized or matrixed teams Experience with CMS certification processes and artifact development Advanced knowledge of MS Project and SharePoint Technical writing experience Engagement Details 2 openings Long-term contract (multi-year) 100% onsite•
