Business Execution Senior Consultant Summary:

This role supports execution of enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) and Software License Compliance (SLC) activities. The individual is responsible for license compliance analysis, contract review support, software data quality, and audit readiness. The position operates within the SAM/SLC function, which provides governance, operational execution, and oversight of software assets, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and accuracy of enterprise software data. Responsibilities License Compliance & Analysis

• Perform software license compliance analysis and apply license rules to determine compliance position
• Support license reconciliations for strategic and non-strategic vendors
• Identify and remediate over-deployment and under-utilization scenarios Software Contract & License Interpretation
• Analyze software contracts and licensing agreements to interpret terms, restrictions, and entitlements
• Apply licensing rules to operational scenarios to ensure compliance
• Support contract deliverable tracking (renewals, certifications, maintenance terms) Software Asset Data & Research
• Perform daily research and analysis of software asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Troubleshoot data quality issues across discovery, inventory, and entitlement sources
• Support software catalog accuracy and lifecycle tracking (e.g., extended support) Tools, Workflow & Operational Execution
• Utilize ServiceNow and other web-based workflow tools to execute SAM/SLC processes
• Support reconciliation workflows, contract cycles, and compliance tracking activities
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for compliance activities Audit & Compliance Support
• Assist with internal and external software audits
• Prepare supporting documentation and validate compliance positions
• Ensure readiness for vendor certification and audit requests Optimization & Cost Management
• Identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings
• Analyze software usage patterns and recommend adjustments qualifications: 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
