No Daily The primary function of the Content Sales Planning (CSP) Business Analyst is to analyze, design, implement, and support technology solutions that enable end-to-end content sales planning. This role focuses on optimizing forecasting, rights planning, deal modeling, and decision workflows to drive revenue realization and data-driven sales strategies across the content licensing lifecycle Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
- Partner with Content Sales, Finance, and Licensing teams to align CSP capabilities with business strategy and revenue objectives.
- Gather and translate complex business requirements (e.g., forecasting, rights, deal scenarios) into functional and technical specifications.
- Support forecasting, scenario planning, and predictive modeling to enable faster, data-driven sales decisions.
- Evaluate current workflows (rights validation, deal planning, revenue modeling) to identify optimization and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to implement scalable CSP solutions across the value stream.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure solutions meet user needs and deliver measurable value.
- Support highly complex content sales processes, including deal lifecycle planning, revenue forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Contribute to multiple product initiatives as part of an Agile team, supporting delivery of CSP capabilities and releases Must Have Skills / Requirements 1) Strong understanding of content licensing, rights management, and sales planning workflows (forecasting, deal modeling, revenue tracking) 2) Experience translating complex business processes into scalable technology solutions that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
3) Working knowledge of data modeling, analytics, and reporting to support forecasting and planning decisions. 4) Ability to evaluate trade-offs and recommend solutions based on ROI, business impact, and technical feasibility. 5) Strong project and product delivery experience in Agile environments, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. 6) 10+ years of experience in business analysis, product delivery, or sales planning within media, entertainment, or related industries. Soft Skills 1) Proven ability to navigate complex datasets, systems, and business processes to solve problems and drive insights. 2) Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes for stakeholders at all levels. 3) Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize inputs from multiple sources to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
