Job Description

Under the direction of the Engineering and Operations Manager, the Management Analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing and making recommendations to solve problems having significant District impact. The Management Analyst performs a wide variety of complex administrative and analytical duties, oversees assigned administrative processes and programs, and other assignments assigned by the Engineering and Operations Manager, depending on operational needs of the department with significant independence . The incumbent conducts research, analyses, and reports in highly complex areas under general direction, and performs a variety of technical, administrative, and office support functions with significant independence. Creates and maintains reports, records, and files required in connection with department work processes, expected to carry out responsibilities with initiative and creativity, sound professional judgment, problem-solving skills, while adhering to District policy and procedures. EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience to obtain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities referenced above. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in public / business administration, business finance or related field. At least two years of increasingly responsible experience performing professional administration, design, analysis and development of water resources policies and programs. Experience in a public agency is preferred.
