Job Description
Description We are looking for a Licensing Coordinator to support brand licensing initiatives and help drive organized, timely execution across a portfolio of products and partners in Glendale, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and communicates effectively with cross-functional teams. The role combines project coordination, presentation development, stakeholder communication, and operational support to help advance franchise plans and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update essential team resources such as planning calendars, franchise reference materials, brand presentations, and partner tracking documents.
- Coordinate the review and distribution of brand and marketing submissions to appropriate stakeholders through the internal approval process.
- Share timely updates with internal teams regarding franchise developments, available tools, and priority initiatives.
- Organize team meetings by handling scheduling, preparing agendas, documenting discussion points, and monitoring follow-up actions.
- Conduct market and competitor research, track relevant campaigns, and summarize findings for the broader team.
- Create and refine presentation materials for internal and external use using PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Partner with legal and business affairs teams to secure required clearances and maintain accurate records for brand-related documents and filings.
- Work with category and asset operations teams to gather product details, images, and launch timing for presentations, filmmaker reviews, and public relations needs.
- Support brainstorming sessions and contribute to the daily coordination and execution of franchise planning activities. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong presentation development skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with a proactive and resourceful work style.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard business software.
- Familiarity with major entertainment brands and licensing-related business environments is preferred.
