Business Analyst

Business Analyst Salary Range:

$90,000 to $105,000 per year Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This role elicits and documents user requirements and user stories in real time within an Agile/DevOps environment. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Elicit, refine, and document user requirements and user stories. Establish and maintain the minimum viable product (MVP); groom and prioritize the product backlog. Support change management activities across the development lifecycle. Coach the team on Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing. Collaborate with Project Managers, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver value. Required Qualifications AA/AS in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree. Active IAT Level I certification (one of:

A+ CE, CCNA

Security, Network+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification. Active Product Owner certification. 4+ years of successful Agile planning and facilitation across complete project lifecycles with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders. 4+ years eliciting and documenting user requirements. Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, CI, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing. U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Desired Qualifications BA/BS in Business, Information Systems, or related field. CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent BA certification. Prior DoD or Army experience.
