Job Summary The Strategic Planning function at Cemex formulates the long-term direction of the business. It has a central role to develop and execute projects that create shareholder value. The team focuses on identifying and analyzing long-term opportunities, strategically positioning the US business to optimize these prospects. The Senior Regional Planning Analyst is an integral role within the Strategic Planning team with exposure to overall Company operations and senior management. Job Responsibilities Financial planning, forecasting and analysis, modeling and budgeting Support the business in developing strategic projects, their financial analysis and their implementation Assist with capital expenditure planning, budgeting and forecasting activities Prepare, consolidate and review reports and presentations for Senior Management Assist management with efforts to track and manage operational performance exposure Qualifications Bachelor degree Finance, Business, Engineering, or Accounting preferred 2-5 years' experience (preferred) Strong interpersonal skills Self-motivated and desire to advance within the company Business analytics preferred but not required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills required Power BI or Tableau skills preferred Prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced and high volume environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of urgency, detail oriented and ability to drive results Basic Accounting knowledge is a plus Ability to work in a team environment Ability to maintain and handle confidential information Working Conditions Capable to work extended hours as needed Capable of working in an open concept office environment Physical Requirements Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
