Eugenus Inc, is a global semiconductor equipment company, with operations in South Korea and Silicon Valley, is seeking a Chief Sales & Marketing Executive to lead the companies' combined efforts to achieve $1B in revenue by 2030, from the current level of $100M. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and technical understanding of the primary drivers of front-end processing of the memory, logic and foundry markets in the semiconductor industry. They will also be very familiar and experienced operating in the Asian marketplace, primarily Asian markets such as, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and China, and have a sound appreciation for the cultures and business practices by region. In addition to the above sales and marketing activities, this position will also assume the responsibility for the company branding strategy, continued development of the global product support organization, and continuous upgrading of technical literature, and market recognition as a leading technology innovator. The combined company designs advanced deposition systems at both locations, and the CSMO will have total responsibility for developing global sales outside of South Korea for the Korean designed systems, in addition to the global sales and marketing strategy developed for the US designed systems.Sales:
Exceptional sales and customer relationship management skills with in-depth knowledge of the semiconductor market, including extensive C-level industry contacts. Accountable for recruitment, management and directing the overall sales efforts relating to customer growth, revenue growth, and customer experience goals - both to achieve the in-year, and long-term strategic ambitions of the company Collaborate across departments at an executive and operational level to meet business objectives and deliver best in class product, customer service and overall customer satisfaction. Protect core revenues by leveraging existing revenue base and maximizing customer satisfaction. Grow new revenue streams and sustain revenue growth, with focus on new applications and new customers. Collaborate with Product team to take advantage of new opportunities. Development of new business in conjunction with the technology roadmap and market focus.Marketing:
Develop the company's overall branding, marketing and corporate communication strategies in line with the company's business development objectives and market characteristics and trends. Accountable for the development of marketing collateral for marketing events and project sales in keeping with the marketing communication strategy of the Company. Develop compelling technical presentations, highlighting core company technology benefits versus competition. Gather and maintain market insights on marketing propositions of competitors and trends and ensure sharing of insights with the sales teams to directly influence the strategic direction of the company. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Ensure market leading Corporate Identity. Support value proposition drive into existing and future customer base. Manage the website to position the company as a leader in the semiconductor equipment market, addressing customer, investors, and employers. Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures in the execution of marketing activities. Product Marketing Recognized as an expert and drives field/technical and customer engagement. Conducts calls with field Technical Teams to capture current and projected needs. Drives penetration / adoption of unique and complex product strategies with field. Identifies customer adoption barriers and drives a plan to overcome. Has expert understanding of global, technical, and market trends and executes a systematic process for capturing competitive intelligence. Drives alignment and tracks business focus on TAM, share, and margin. Leads project teams to achieve milestones/objectives and map trends, opportunities and threats to roadmap strategies. Enhances technical communication and information flow between field and product teams. Communicates customer info on applications, value validation and adoption issues. Coordinates (TRM) Technical Review workshops with company and customers. Understands the Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment marketing (customers, competitors, key suppliers) Understands process technology applications in areas of thin film deposition (ALD, CVD, PEALD, PECVD, etc) Actively is engaged with customers and leading researchers, with industry technology trends and drivers. Keen ability to "listen" to the voice of the customer and prioritize choices and responses. Define new products and gather product requirements including Market Requirement Statement and Product Roadmap. Execute customer demos that lead to product sales. This includes negotiating scope of demo request, site to site metrology matching, routing of requested analytical work and logistics of the demo material.Experience / Key
Strengths Master's Degree or above, in a related technical discipline. 15+ years of semiconductor process equipment experience. Understands the Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment market (customers, competitors, key suppliers) Strong knowledge of Semiconductor device design and integration requirements. Key pillar of the executive leadership team. Understand process technology applications in areas of thin film deposition (ALD, CVD, LPCVD, PECVD, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly & persuasively articulate the benefits of the company and its products. Demonstrated leadership skills in a dynamic, evolving environment Must be able to travel internationally up to 40% of the time. Represent the company's vision, mission, and values. The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
