Position Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Business Analyst•Delivery with our client located in Santa Clara, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the Delivery Workstream Lead throughout the SAP ERP implementation lifecycle.
Document and maintain current-state and to-be business processes across:
Fulfillment Operations
Global Logistics
Trade Compliance
Returns and Reverse Logistics
Gather, document, and validate business requirements from Business Process Owners (BPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and key stakeholders.
Support requirements workshops, process reviews, and solution validation sessions.
Partner with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in solution designs.
Review proposed solutions and identify gaps, risks, or process impacts.
Develop and maintain process flows, business scenarios, and testing artifacts.
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including:
Test planning
Test script development
Test execution support
Defect tracking and resolution using XRay in Jira
Test status reporting
Ensure all approved solution designs are thoroughly tested and validated prior to deployment.
Maintain a strong understanding of Order-to-Fulfill processes, logistics operations, tradepliance requirements, and reverse logistics workflows.
Perform data validation activities to ensure accuracy andpleteness of migrated and converted data.
Support master data validation and reconciliation efforts related to fulfillment, logistics, transportation, tradepliance, and returns processes.
Track and manage action items, issues, risks, and dependencies within the Delivery workstream.
Support business readiness activities, including process documentation, training support, and go-live preparation.
Assist BPOs and SMEs as they adopt new processes and system capabilities introduced through the SAP implementation.
Support deployment, hyper care, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role supporting supply chain execution processes or in IT.
Business Process Documentation — As-is/to-be process mapping across fulfillment, logistics, tradepliance, and returns
Requirements Gathering & Validation — Facilitating workshops and capturing needs from BPOs, SMEs, and stakeholders
UAT Coordination — Test planning, script development, execution support, and defect tracking
Jira / XRay — for defect tracking and test management
SAP S/4HANA
Knowledge — Familiarity with relevant modules in a fulfillment/logistics context
Order-to-Fulfill (OTF) Process Expertise — Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain execution
Data Validation & Migration Support — Validating accuracy of migrated/converted data and master data reconciliation
Gap Analysis & Risk Identification — Reviewing solutions and flagging process impacts or design gaps
Stakeholder Facilitation & Communication — Working across IT, business teams, and external implementation partners
Business Readiness & Go-Live Support — Hypercare, stabilization, training support, and deployment preparation.
