Rs':
Reduction, Readiness, Response and Recovery. The Community Resilience Coordinator is an active member of the Council's Civil Defence and Emergency Management (CDEM) team, and key duties will include: Contributing to emergency management activities Supporting communities to develop community response plans Developing and delivering public education programmes Strengthening links between CDEM and communities Supporting the delivery of CDEM training Contributing to the development of guidance and tools to support work programmes Acting as duty CDEM officer on a rostered basis This role has on-duty obligations and after-hours and weekend work as a core part of the role. You will also be expected to work in an emergency operations centre occasionally, at short notice.
