Job Description

Senior Business Analyst About the Role Our client, a leading organization with a complex global operation, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic business initiatives through data-driven analysis, financial modeling, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop insights, and support decision-making across sourcing, procurement, supply chain, and finance-related functions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable translating complex data into actionable business recommendations for leadership audiences. Key Responsibilities Analyze business processes, financial performance, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, business cases, and reporting dashboards. Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable recommendations and solutions. Create executive-level presentations and reports that clearly communicate findings, insights, and strategic recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, and operations teams. Support strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives through spend analysis, supplier performance reporting, and business case development. Design and maintain reporting solutions using business intelligence tools. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing analysis to support business objectives. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field. 4-5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Finance, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or a related analytical function. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling. Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization. Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills. Excellent PowerPoint and presentation development skills with the ability to communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Procurement or Strategic Sourcing organizations. Knowledge of spend analysis, supplier management, sourcing strategies, and procurement best practices. Experience working in large, complex, or global organizations. Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise reporting environments. Success Factors Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful business insights. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
