Job Description
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will support City-wide business applications, including the City's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and related business processes. Elicits, analyzes, and documents business and functional requirements; evaluates current workflows; and recommends process and system improvements that align with City goals and budget. Administers and supports the ERP/application environment by coordinating and/or performing system configuration, security/role administration, user access provisioning, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades/patches, and ongoing maintenance to ensure system availability, integrity, and performance. Partners with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams (including the City's Managed Service Provider) to translate requirements into solutions, support integrations and reporting needs, oversee implementation activities, and develop user support documentation and training to ensure successful adoption. Work is reviewed through observations, conferences and written reports for results obtained. Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in business systems analysis, ERP/business application support or administration, requirements elicitation and documentation, and/or project or process analysis; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Formal industry certification(s) preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
