Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Data Analytics to join our team at NextEra Energy. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in business analysis and data analysis, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the organization. Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define business requirements and develop data driven solutions. Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, process flows, and data models. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex data insights. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis and data analytics.

Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in data analysis, including proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience with SQL and data querying languages. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present data driven insights to non technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align data analysis with business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Experience in the energy sector or related industries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7 10 years of experience in business analysis and data analytics. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)) are a plus.
