The Business Transformation Analyst II drives measurable business value across data portfolio initiatives by aligning demands to strategic outcomes, establishing value metrics, and enabling transparent portfolio performance. This role leads the development of portfolio insights and executive communications, partnering across business, product, finance, and technology teams to connect work delivered to business impact. The analyst supports value-based prioritization and contributes to Azure cloud cost optimization efforts by advancing cost transparency, value realization, and alignment of cloud spend to business outcomes. Additionally, the role helps maintain portfolio governance practices including metrics frameworks, while delivering clear, data-driven insights that inform decision-making. This position promotes a value-first mindset and is designed with a focus in portfolio strategy, value realization, and investment prioritization. Responsibilities Provide thought leadership on business transformation driven by new technology capability builds while balancing the trade-offs between solution options
Drive for end-to-end solutions that deliver transformational member value rapidly in iterative releases of new analytics and technology solutions
Evangelize the "art of the possible" mindset across the enterprise and ensure we are transforming not only technology but also the way the enterprise considers solving business challenges with technology
Liaise between business/journey leads/goal owners/product owners and development teams
Drive and prioritize capability feature and function requests for future releases from business
Solve business problems by defining robust solutions via interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives with a focus on transformative capabilities, and presenting findings
Track and manage requirements status and changes throughout project / product lifecycle via board/backlog management
Conduct requirements analysis and validation, ensuring requirements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable, and that they conform to defined standards
Create and communicate artifacts; translating business needs into executable requirements and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
Create and present executive summaries of requirements for senior stakeholders
Partner with Scrum Masters and Release Train team for overall product board/backlog creation, maintenance, and management as related to requirements
Maintain backlog of business needs and transformation objectives and works with team capability strategy team to prioritize in an iterative and agile framework
Influence and negotiate prioritization of delivery across numerous business areas across the enterprise
Understand enterprise technology roadmaps across multiple business stakeholders and synthesize frequently changing inputs, priorities, and dependencies
Stay abreast of latest FinTech and analytics capability trends and technologies
Propose innovative solutions leveraging a combination of existing and emerging data and analytics technologies
Support and enable agile way of working across technical and functional teams
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience driving capability roadmap and prioritization with business stakeholders
Experience in the banking/financial services industry and deep understanding of industry trends, products, and services
Experience working in a large-scale IT and/or financial services organization with responsibility for the technology strategy relating to business transformation via digital experience platforms and processes, cloud-native, etc.
Knowledge of FinTech space and emerging technologies (Cloud, Data Virtualization, etc.)
Experience in organizational transformation, digital journeys, customer experience
Knowledge of and significant experience with end to end MVP product and capability delivery
Ability to independently plan, organize, and lead large and complex efforts
Advanced skill in driving alignment and consensus across broad working groups from junior to executive stakeholder groups
Advanced skill in relationship management horizontally across multiple business and technology functions and sources of requirements inputs, including but not limited to senior business stakeholders, journey execution leads, goal owners, product owners, solution architects, etc.
Advanced change management skills and the ability to influence others and set priorities around constant change
Advanced project management skills and/or experience working in Agile project management
Advanced skill in developing high quality deliverables, including oral, written, and PPT presentations for executive communications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience Desired Qualifications Define, track, and report on business value metrics for data portfolio initiatives
Establish value hypotheses, KPIs, and success measures in partnership with stakeholders
Partner across business, product, finance, and technology stakeholders to connect delivery activities to measurable outcomes
Promote a value-first mindset, shifting focus from outputs to outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve value transparency, cost optimization, and ROI tracking practices
Contribute to and apply value management, FinOps, and portfolio performance frameworks
Advanced skills in storytelling with data and executive communication
Experience working with executive stakeholders and contributing to strategic decision-making
Certifications or training in Agile (SAFe/Scrum), Cloud, or portfolio/program management
Master's degree in Business, Analytics, Technology, or related field (preferred)
