Manage, control, design, and adapt operative data collection mechanisms and resources to generate and report information, ensuring its quality and accuracy. Produce and manage financial statements containing relevant information, analysis, and recommendations that allow managers to improve the business performance related to operative and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Monitor and analyze information sources to identify potential costs savings, operative-inventory controls, and process efficiency assuring its implementation in a proactive manner. Act as primary accounting support to the operating locations within the Division. Collect data to generate and manage operational information that meets the needs of management, plant management and staff areas of the Operations VP. Ensure the quality of the data, understanding its accuracy, reliability, consistency, and timeliness. Update the operative data collection systems for its analysis, extraction, and generation of information timely, daily and for any period that is necessary. Ensure compliance with institutional criteria and standards for operative data recording, calculation of KPIs and presentation of results to plant management. Monitor the databases where the operative information is uploaded. Ensure backups of the information generated and keep it updated on secure storage devices. Ensure the training of the personnel reporting to this position (direct and indirect), facilitating access to information and training. Ensure the processes and mechanisms for the collection of information. Understand and comply with the Comprehensive Management System Policy as well as comply with the company`s objectives (Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety). Monitor issues within official financial statements. Elaborate, analyze, and release actual operative figures (Cement business) (CAPEX, Selling, General & Administrative expenses, Headcount, Working Capital and Operative Cash Flow). Guarantee fulfillment, functionality, and compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley, PACS regulations, and Internal control. Support to internal clients (Operations) in internal and external audits. Follow up to main operative KPIs, through analysis and development of tools and reports related and focused on operations to find improvements, savings and identified potential risks in processes. Responsible for all accounting processes at plant level. Be the first and main contact point with the operations and staff areas. Encourage financial information analysis to generate proposals of cost reductions plans to capitalize value added opportunities. Responsible for the financial and management reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes related to the Cement Plant. Ensure compliance with all established controls and policies of the company. Act as Global Enterprise Services (GES) representative within the plant, assuring independence in advice, recommendations, and assuring control/policy within the location. Assure the integrity of the financial information of the plant. Support in maintaining financial controls including analyzing the Profit and Loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flows. Responsible for the self-assessment process and periodic inventory observations. Control and manage inventories, assure that physical and theorical inventory figures in the plant are accurate and propose adjustments in case of any variance. Must have a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting or Finance. Must have 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Accounting Analyst, Financial Analyst, or a related role within the cement industry. The 3 years of experience must include experience with: forecasting and budgeting for cement manufacturing process; SAP modules including inventory, accounting, payments, cash flow, and asset management; creating forecast, capital plans, budgets, inventory, and financial reports; liaising with all levels within the organization of a cement plant, which involves being the primary local contact for Accounting, Admin, and financial topics, as well as participating in meetings to resolve daily issues and providing support across all positions in the plant, from Upper Management to operators; analyzing the root cause of issues; and Business Intelligence (BI) systems including dashboards features.
