Business Analyst

Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our client's team in Ankeny, Iowa. In this role, you will analyze business processes, provide insights through financial and manufacturing analytics, and support decision-making with data-driven recommendations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has strong expertise in accounting systems, financial analysis, and business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for improvement within manufacturing and financial operations.
• Analyze financial data, including debit and credit entries, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Utilize Power BI to create dashboards and visualizations that support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
• Work with SAP systems to streamline operations and enhance data reporting capabilities.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Develop and document business requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Provide actionable insights to stakeholders by interpreting complex data sets.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Support manufacturing analytics to optimize production processes and resource allocation. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including accounting entries and debit-credit processes.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP systems and related tools.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and analytics.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
