Business Analyst

at Insight Global in Deerfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking a temporary Business Analyst to assist a large retail/healthcare client in Deerfield, IL. They will perform work order spend analytics to analyze repair and maintenance spend including sites, regions, providers, categories, problem types, and priority levels. Responsible for identifying trends and making recommendations to the team management aimed at lowering overall costs, driving operational efficiency, standardizing processes and improving quality throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Assists with developing and implementing program strategies to meet Stakeholder needs. Develops and assesses benchmarking metrics to measure performance or energy consumption and uses the data to analyze program success and opportunities. Works with business owners and stakeholders to review and help prioritize suggested improvements, system enhancements, and resolutions. Escalates the more complex questions but follows up for resolution. Identify and develop data sources to support business requirements/ KPI's, including measurement analytics and end user reporting. Works with stakeholders to identify functional business requirements and develop process diagrams where needed to drive improvements. Maintains data sets while staying abreast of business trends and demands. Develops processes to validate data accuracy and integrity. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Experience identifying operational issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Knowledge of reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Skilled in Microsoft Office, Service Channel, and PowerBi. Excellent verbal & written communication— including presentation skills Experience with facilities/asset management and/or maintenance programs. Experience in the utilities and/or energy industry including energy management, utilities service programs, and/or alternative energy. Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary. Experience using analytical and quantitative skills in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Experience with Microsoft Excel Macros development and utilization.
