Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Employee Relations team in the role of Absence Management Consultant. Description Serves as a consultant to management and team members regarding
ADA/STD/LTD/FMLA
programs and policies. Coordinates, reviews, analyzes and investigatesADA/STD/LTD/FMLA
claims within established guidelines. Participates in training programs and presentations to communicate details of how Absence Management programs work and builds team member/manager understanding. Performs administrative support functions including document preparation, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, etc. Maintains confidentiality of employee data and sensitive Human Resources (HR) issues. Provides statistical and analytical reports for management use. Works closely with the HR team to consistently deliver high quality customer service to internal and external customers, and provide professional representation of the department.Key Relationships Reports to:

None Candidate Qualifications Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies. Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience is required. Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; previous Leave Management experience preferred. Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred. Requires knowledge or basic understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. ADA; STD; LTD; FMLA). Requires basic proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
