M-F/8-5. We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Reconciliation Analyst to support critical data integrity, reconciliation, and process control functions within our organization. This role requires an individual with advanced Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, and a natural curiosity for understanding the relationship between data, operational activities, and financial outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with large datasets, and possesses a healthy skepticism toward data accuracy. They will proactively identify discrepancies, ask thoughtful questions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data consistency and reliability across business processes. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed data reconciliation activities to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies across multiple data sources. Analyze data trends, exceptions, and variances to ensure accuracy and completeness. Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, formulas, and analytical tools to manage and reconcile large datasets. Evaluate data integrity and challenge inconsistencies through thoughtful analysis and investigation. Partner with operational and financial teams to understand the root causes of data variances and their business impact. Develop, document, and maintain reconciliation procedures, policies, and internal controls. Support efforts to formalize and improve business processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with established procedures. Monitor and validate data inputs, outputs, and reporting accuracy. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability. Assist with special projects involving data analysis, reporting, automation, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools where appropriate. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in data reconciliation, data analysis, accounting support, financial analysis, operations analysis, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data validation, and complex formulas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and inconsistencies within large datasets. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to independently investigate issues and ask insightful questions. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with financial, operational, or transactional data. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and internal controls. Experience documenting policies, procedures, and workflow processes. Familiarity with AI-powered analytical tools , data automation, or business intelligence platforms. Experience supporting audit, compliance, or reconciliation functions.
