UVS InfoTech is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst who will be responsible for leading requirements development, process analysis, and stakeholder coordination to ensure that technical solutions fully align with business needs and program objectives. This role plays a critical part in supporting the overall contract by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Business Analyst provides clear, accurate, and traceable requirements, translates business discussions into actionable technical direction, and facilitates effective communication across all parties involved in the project. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation to ensure technical solutions meet business needs and program goals. Conduct process analysis and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Translate complex business discussions and needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and direction. Develop and maintain requirements artifacts, including process flows, user stories, use cases, and other traceability documents. Coordinate with stakeholders, project leadership, and technical teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Support testing and validation activities to confirm that delivered solutions meet documented requirements. Evaluate options and recommend process or service delivery improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Facilitate decision-making by providing clear analysis, options, and impact assessments. Required Qualifications & Experience Active U.S Government Clearance (L Clearance) or ability to obtain clearance is mandatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in documenting requirements, workflows, and business processes. Proven ability to develop clear, traceable requirements artifacts (e.g., process flows, user stories, functional specifications). Relevant experience supporting IT projects, systems modernization, or digital transformation initiatives. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience supporting testing, validation, and quality assurance activities. Preferred Skills & Attributes Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Familiarity with workflow automation platforms or business process management tools. Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile certifications, or similar). Background in government contracting or large-scale enterprise modernization efforts. A successful Business Analyst in this role will act as a trusted advisor who ensures business value is realized through technology solutions. They will deliver high-quality, traceable documentation that minimizes miscommunication, accelerate project delivery, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to influence outcomes through clear communication and structured analysis.
