Job Description

Job Overview This position directly supports NIH auditors by performing program coordination, administrative analysis, data management, and operational support activities that improve organizational efficiency.. The successful candidate will coordinate communications, maintain tracking systems, manage documentation, support SharePoint-based workflows, prepare reports, and assist leadership with a wide variety of program management activities. This is a full-time onsite position located in Bethesda, Maryland . Regular telework is not available except under rare Government-authorized circumstances. Duties Support NIH auditors with administrative and operational activities Monitor audit activities and track delinquent submissions Maintain audit tracking systems and status reports Monitor and manage organizational email mailboxes Route requests to appropriate Government personnel Maintain electronic document repositories and records Develop spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, and management metrics Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and action items Maintain SharePoint lists and Microsoft Office products Track program deliverables and milestone completion Assist with document formatting and correspondence preparation Support leadership with special projects and organizational initiatives Provide backup administrative support to the Office Administrative Assistant when required Qualifications Experience supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) , Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) , or another Federal civilian agency Experience supporting financial auditors, acquisition organizations, grants management, contracts management, or financial management offices Experience working in a Federal office environment with daily interaction with Government leadership Experience using SharePoint for document management and workflow tracking Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including tracking spreadsheets, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting Experience preparing executive correspondence, briefings, reports, and meeting materials Experience maintaining records management systems and document repositories Experience coordinating meetings, calendars, and action-item tracking Experience monitoring shared organizational mailboxes and routing inquiries Knowledge of Federal administrative processes and office operations Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
