Job Description

Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, use case and user story development, software application analysis, developer specifications, SDLC support, and meeting facilitation. Job Requirements 7 or more years of experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and defining requirements 7 or more years of experience creating use cases or user stories Experience using iterative or Agile methodology 6 or more years of experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and defining requirements for software application development 6 or more years of experience with the system development lifecycle 6 or more years of experience with DBMS concepts or design techniques 6 or more years of experience formulating work plans Experience drafting specifications for developers Experience facilitating meetings Preferred Skills 508 compliance experience Graphic design experience related to 508 compliance Object-Oriented Analysis and Design experience Experience using Object-Oriented tools Experience supporting software development teams Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications Experience documenting functional requirements, workflows, and system behaviors Job Responsibilities Gather, analyze, document, and define business and system requirements Create use cases and user stories using iterative or Agile methodology Support requirements definition for software application development Analyze application needs and document system functionality Apply SDLC knowledge to support project planning and software development activities Use DBMS concepts and design techniques to support requirements and system analysis Formulate work plans for requirements, analysis, and development support activities Draft specifications for developers Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and project teams Support 508 compliance considerations in requirements and design documentation Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design techniques as needed Document requirements, workflows, use cases, user stories, and developer-ready specifications
Pay:
