Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst - Enterprise Data & Reporting serves as a key liaison between business partners and Information Technology to advance Bell Bank's enterprise data, analytics, and reporting capabilities. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into actionable requirements, and supporting data solutions that enable informed decision‑making, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. This position also plays a critical role in documenting and communicating data warehousing concepts, such as business transformation logic, aggregation and summarization rules, and ensuring their accurate implementation within the enterprise data warehouse and reporting ecosystem. The Business Systems Analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders across the bank, including Enterprise Data & Reporting, IT, Risk, Operations, and multiple business units to ensure data solutions are accurate, scalable, secure, and aligned with Bell Bank's strategic objectives. Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyze enterprise data, reporting, and analytics needs. Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for data engineers, developers, and reporting teams. Support enterprise data platforms, reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions across the full lifecycle—intake, design, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements. Analyze existing reports, data processes, and workflows to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, consistency, and usability. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions to gather requirements, align priorities, and drive solution delivery. Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, data definitions, process flows, use cases, and user guides. Capture and document system interfaces, extracts, and application‑to‑application integrations that interact with the data warehouse ecosystem. Support data governance initiatives by defining business rules, data quality metrics, and standardized data definitions. Assist with issue resolution, root cause analysis, and post‑implementation reviews related to enterprise data and reporting solutions. Ensure all data and reporting solutions adhere to Bell Bank's standards for information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Build strong, collaborative relationships across business and technical teams while providing responsive, professional support.

Education, Experience, and Other Expectations Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent experience. 4-6 years of experience as a business systems analyst, data analyst, reporting analyst, or similar role preferred. Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus. Experience working with databases, including tables, columns, and relational structures; strong understanding of Microsoft SQL. Experience with data, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence solutions. Skills and Knowledge Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Ability to translate complex business and data needs into clear requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate in a team‑oriented environment.
