Business Banking Officer, VP ???? Fargo, North Dakota A growing community-focused financial institution is seeking an experienced Business Banking Officer, VP to join its Fargo team. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven banking professional who enjoys developing new business, managing commercial relationships, and helping local businesses succeed. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial banking, business development, and portfolio management, along with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and building long-term partnerships. What You'll Do- Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships, including commercial loans and deposits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small and mid-sized businesses across a variety of industries
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their financial needs and providing customized banking solutions
- Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and generate new business
- Collaborate with internal teams including credit, treasury management, and operations to deliver a seamless client experience
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with all lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of a respected community banking organization What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, credit analysis, or a related financial services role
- Demonstrated success building and managing commercial client relationships
- Experience developing commercial loan and deposit portfolios
- Strong business development and sales skills with a proven track record of achieving goals
- Knowledge of commercial lending, treasury management, and business banking products and services
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities What We Offer
