Job Description:
Manages complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources in preparation for reporting use. Conducts regular data mining and extraction from databases and tables. Develops and maintains performance measurement processes, including database development, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment. Interacts regularly with leadership and quality personnel to facilitate discussions of existing data products and assess unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements. Analyzes and interprets data to identify areas for improvement and provides meaningful data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Develops key performance indicators through gathering requirements, defining specifications, and establishing goals or benchmarks. Uses analytical techniques to design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards that provide insight to the organization. Conducts financial and operational analyses and interprets results to support business stakeholders in making strategic decisions. Collaborates with other analytics staff to develop and improve analytic products. Supports system-wide quality improvement efforts through collaboration with multi-disciplinary audiences, from executives to front line staff. Develops subject matter expertise around business and clinical operations and their relation to performance measurements. Serves as the team content expert on measurement and analysis methods, providing solid recommendations to senior leaders and quality staff.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Mastery of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) [Required]
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences throughout the organization [Required]
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively summarize data, present insights and facilitate discussion of results [Required]
  • Initiative to work independently (self-direction) and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for maximum efficiency and effectiveness [Required]
  • Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all assigned projects [Required]
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage efforts across multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary to effectively respond to time-sensitive issues and meet deadlines [Required]
  • Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance [Required]
  • Experience in visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS) [Required]
  • Experience in data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL) [Required]
  • Strong experience with data mining/extraction tools (merging dimensions, custom SQL) [Required]
  • Strong project management, planning, organizational and process improvement skills [Required]
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills [Required]
  • Experience leading analytical projects [Required]
  • Ability to work with autonomy [Required]
  • Ability to utilize a determined, self-disciplined approach to achieve results and maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy [Required]
  • Maintain confidentiality, use discretion and adhere to all corporate, legal, and regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA [Required]

  • Very detail-oriented, with strong proofreading and editing skills [Required]

Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
  • business, health care, engineering, information systems, or mathematics discipline
Work Experience:
  • 2+ minimum experience in an administrative/office support role required.

    Pay Range:
