What You'll Do:
Lenovo ISG is seeking a skilled Industry Analyst Relations Manager with a broad understanding of the technology landscape across hardware, software, services, and solutions. This role serves as the end-to-end owner and trusted advisor for analyst relations, partnering closely with stakeholders to shape perception and influence. You'll join a seasoned, lean global communications team, reporting to the Director of Communications within the business unit. The position offers flexibility to be based at Lenovo's Morrisville (Raleigh-Durham) headquarters or remotely, collaborating with teams across North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead analyst relations strategy : Develop and execute a proactive AR strategy that supports Lenovo ISG's positioning and business goals. We are looking for an AR Manager who will come in with fresh ideas and new thinking
  • including using emerging technologies and platforms—to drive business results and elevate the program.
Manage key analyst relationships : Cultivate and maintain positive, trusted relationships with key tech industry analysts to increase Lenovo and ISG's visibility and influence among the IT industry-analyst community. Drive analyst engagement : Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and industry event 1:1 meetings to ensure analysts are up to date on Lenovo ISG's strategy, new announcements, and customer success stories. Support multiple activities around Lenovo events, including Tech World and the Lenovo Global Industry Analyst Conference. Develop materials & messaging : Help create compelling analyst-facing content for quarterly product announcement briefings as well as for the annual Lenovo Analyst Conference. Influence analyst evaluations : Manage submissions and presentations for key reports such as IDC MarketScapes, Gartner Magic Quadrants, and Forrester Waves while identifying opportunities to automate RFI survey workflows through AI tools and platforms. Provide insights to leadership : Review analyst feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence for go-to-market and product strategy insights and communicate findings to executive leadership.
Peer Reviews & Social Proof :
Build and manage a Gartner Peer Insights center of excellence in partnership with product marketing, customer advocacy, and sales to amplify the voice of the customer.
Program Operations :
Manage all AR operations including analyst agreements, budgets, monthly reporting and research requests, ensuring contracted services are fully utilized and delivering ROI.
Basic Requirements:
BA/BS degree and 8+ years of analyst or analyst relations experience in the technology industry. Strong network of technology and business analyst contacts. Experience in being articulate, confident and tactful in interacting with senior leadership
  • from presenting strategy plans to facilitating executive briefings.
Comfortable driving projects end-to-end, from strategy through hands-on execution. Collaborative nature with the flexibility to work across a complex, global organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to summarize details quickly and sell business ideas through presentations.
Preferred Requirements:
Have strong project management skills in multitasking multiple priorities and take end-to-end ownership of programs. Be a strategic thinker as well as a practical doer, comfortable with rolling up your sleeves to get things done with limited resources. Be able to make strategic, prudent decisions, sometimes with high degree of ambiguity. Proven ability to manage key business stakeholders across a variety of situations and issues being able to course-correct and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment against fast-breaking developments and timelines. Constantly challenge the status quo and be entrepreneurial in pursuing new ideas and better ways of doing the job
  • with a sharp eye for detail.
