Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support Health & Welfare administration initiatives and client-focused projects within a benefits administration environment. This role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting annual enrollment and ongoing projects, performing data analysis, and ensuring solutions align with client and business needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, benefits administration experience, and expertise in Health & Welfare operations and enrollment processes. Key Responsibilities Partner with program managers and stakeholders to understand project goals, milestones, and business requirements. Gather, analyze, and document complex business and functional requirements for Annual Enrollment and ongoing projects. Support business analysis activities to ensure systems function according to defined business requirements. Perform complex data analysis, validation, reporting, and remediation activities to support client decision-making. Identify issues with business requirements and recommend functional solution improvements that may impact system design. Define test scenarios and support Systems Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) activities. Support testing activities including test case setup, data mining, data mocking, execution, and validation. Participate in validation and testing efforts to ensure solutions meet client and product requirements. Perform root cause analysis for issues identified before and after system migrations or deployments. Collaborate on interim business solutions, process improvements, and operational transitions. Develop training materials, reference documentation, and procedural guides. Participate in quality assurance validation activities for Annual Enrollment and ongoing project work. Support training, mentoring, and onboarding activities for team members. Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience. Minimum 5 years of direct experience supporting Health & Welfare Annual Enrollment processes. 5-7 years of experience in benefits administration, Health & Welfare outsourcing administration, or related domains. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience analyzing complex business requirements and functional issues. Strong understanding of benefits administration processes, data flows, and business operations. Strong technical and analytical problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, facilitation, prioritization, and time management skills. Experience developing, following, and executing documented procedures. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Agile environments. Understanding of end-to-end business process lifecycles and plan-level provisions. Knowledge of record-keeping systems and regulatory environments related to Health & Welfare administration. Experience supporting healthcare, benefits, or retirement administration platforms.
