Senior Director of Enrollment Strategy & Forecasting Position Summary The Senior Director of Enrollment Strategy & Forecasting is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of districtwide enrollment systems, projections, and strategic planning efforts. This role ensures that enrollment data is accurately analyzed, projected, and translated into actionable strategies that inform staffing, budgeting, programming, and school performance decisions. The Senior Director leads the district's work in establishing enrollment targets, forecasting student populations, and analyzing demographic trends to support long-term planning and operational effectiveness. This position serves as the district's primary authority on enrollment strategy and ensures that leadership has accurate and forward-looking data to guide decision-making. Additional Qualifications:
New Jersey Supervisor Certificate or administrative certification Advanced degree (Doctorate preferred) Experience in demographic analysis or enrollment planning Qualifications Master's Degree required
Minimum:
Five (5) years of experience in data analysis, enrollment planning, or related field Three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience Demonstrated expertise in: Enrollment forecasting and demographic analysis Data modeling and projections Strategic planning and resource alignment Strong knowledge of: Educational systems and enrollment processes Data analysis tools and methodologies Experience supporting executive decision-making Core Responsibilities Enrollment Forecasting and Projections Lead the development of accurate and reliable enrollment forecasts. Develop short and long-term enrollment projections Analyze historical trends, demographic data, and mobility patterns Use predictive modeling to inform planning Continuously refine forecasting methods Enrollment Targets and Strategic Planning Establish and monitor enrollment targets aligned to district priorities. Set enrollment targets at the district and school levels Align enrollment goals to program offerings and capacity Support strategic initiatives to stabilize and grow enrollment Monitor progress toward enrollment targets Data Analysis and Reporting Provide comprehensive analysis of enrollment trends and patterns. Analyze student demographics, mobility, and enrollment shifts Produce reports and dashboards for district leadership Identify risks and opportunities related to enrollment Provide actionable insights to inform decision-making Support for Budgeting and Resource Allocation Align enrollment projections to district planning processes. Provide enrollment data to support budget development Inform staffing models and resource allocation decisions Support long-term financial planning Ensure alignment between enrollment and operational planning School-Level Enrollment Planning Support schools in managing enrollment and planning for capacity. Collaborate with Executive Directors of School Performance Support principals in understanding enrollment trends Provide guidance on scheduling, staffing, and program alignment Monitor school-level enrollment patterns Cross-Departmental Alignment (NES Integration) Ensure enrollment strategy is aligned across district systems. Collaborate with Data Systems & Analytics team for data accuracy Align with Talent team on staffing implications Support Instruction team with program planning Coordinate with Family & Community Engagement on enrollment strategies Continuous Monitoring and Adjustment Ensure enrollment systems remain responsive and adaptive. Monitor real-time enrollment changes Adjust projections and strategies as needed Provide ongoing updates to leadership Team Leadership and Capacity Building Lead and develop the enrollment strategy team. Supervise enrollment specialists and analysts Establish clear expectations and accountability Build team capacity in forecasting and analysis Compliance and Data Integrity Ensure accuracy and compliance in enrollment data systems. Maintain accurate enrollment records and reporting Ensure compliance with state and district requirements Support audit and reporting processes Other Duties Perform such other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee in accordance with law and regulation.

Possible exposure to cleaning agents, instructional materials, and equipment-related chemicals. Terms of Employment Twelve-month position. Salary, benefits, and conditions of employment shall be in accordance with Board policy and applicable agreements. Evaluation Performance shall be evaluated annually in accordance with Board policy, administrative regulations, and district leadership procedures.

$120,000.00
Maximum Starting Salary:
$150,000.00 Residency Requirement Under New Jersey's "New Jersey First Act" (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7), all employees of New Jersey public school districts must maintain bona fide New Jersey residency as a condition of employment. Candidates must already reside in New Jersey or establish residency within the required timeframe after hire. Current employees who were hired on or before September 1, 2011 are exempt from this requirement and may continue to reside outside the state. In limited circumstances, applicants may request a residency waiver through the state's Employee Residency Review Committee if they can demonstrate critical need or hardship; approval is not guaranteed.
