Henderson Harbor Group is a premier executive search and consulting firm with deep experience in finance, accounting, tax and technology. The search division recruits highly skilled professionals on a direct hire basis. We service our clients primarily in the tri-state area as well nationally through our AAFA network. Our client is an international retailer located in Summit, NJ. They are looking to hire a Director of Strategic Planning that has prior experience in the retail industry. This role will work closely with senior management to make high end decisions. Excellent opportunity for advancement. Strategic Planning & Execution Lead the development and implementation of corporate and business-unit strategic plans. Facilitate annual and multi-year strategic planning processes. Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with measurable outcomes. Monitor progress against strategic goals and recommend adjustments as needed. Market & Competitive Analysis Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence. Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact the business. Develop insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making. Evaluate market expansion opportunities, partnerships, and new business ventures. Business Performance & Growth Analyze business performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Lead strategic projects focused on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability. Build business cases and financial models to support investment decisions. Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and integration initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Prior experience in Big 4 TAS or Investment Banking
