Trigyn's has a long-term contract assignment (3 years) for a Business Analyst / Project Lead in Hamilton, NJ. The details of the opportunity are below.
NOTE:
This position is primarily Remote but need to visit 3705 Quakerbridge Road, Hamilton, NJ when requested.
Description:
The Medicaid MMIS Modernization Business Analyst serves as the essential liaison between state operational leadership, integration vendors, and federal compliance entities. Operating within a hybrid/Agile Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) framework, this role focuses on translating current-state operational challenges into future-state technical requirements through business process redesign. The Business Analyst ensures that modular solutions align with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) mandates, leveraging collaboration tools to either lead project planning and requirements gathering or drive quality assurance and user validation.
Core Qualifications & Experience:
Domain Expertise:
Extensive knowledge of the Medicaid/MMIS domain, CMS requirements, and federal regulatory guidelines.
Methodologies:
Solid exposure to Agile and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies within complex, multi-vendor enterprise IT environments.
Collaboration Tools:
Proficiency in modern team collaboration and tracking tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
Process Redesign:
Proven track record in business process redesign, workflow optimization, and software solution implementation.
Preferred Experience:
Strong preference for candidates with prior experience managing or supporting Medicaid Enterprise Systems projects and direct experience with the NJ Medicaid MMIS.
Specific Requirements:
Project Lead Focus:
Support Project Managers with modular planning, execution, and implementation.
Requirements Gathering:
Conduct alternative analyses, document current gaps, and capture operational pain points during future-module outcome review sessions.
JAD Facilitation:
Schedule, facilitate, and thoroughly document Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with cross-functional agile teams.
RTM Management:
Actively manage the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), ensuring all documented JAD outcomes, functional requirements, and Jira user stories are comprehensively mapped, maintained, and tracked through the project lifecycle.
Operational Readiness:
