Advanced Utility Planning Concepts:

Deep operational understanding of regulated utility corporate finance, including capital expenditure recovery, cost-of-service ratemaking, and utility-specific budget cycles.

Regulatory Reporting Awareness:

Strong familiarity with formatting and financial granularity required for 18 CFR Part 101 and 18 CFR Part 201 compliance and New Jersey state regulatory filings. Experienced in developing an annual budgeting/planning tool to meet the various operating company s annual planning needs from a GAAP, FERC and Management accounting, reporting and analytic needs SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Technical & Functional Literacy Specification Auditing:

Proven experience acting as an owner's representative or advisor, holding system integrators accountable by identifying gaps, broken data linkages, or forecasting shortcuts in functional design documentation.

SAC Planning & Reporting Mastery:

Deep understanding of SAC technical mechanics, including Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, Data Import/Export methods, and security setup (data access control/row-level security).

Bluefield Reconciliation Context:

Familiarity with how historical financial data, legacy cost pools, and open projects are transitioned in an SAP Bluefield transformation, ensuring those historical trends remain legible within SAC. 2) Requirement for

Finance Business Advisor (Utility FERC Accounting Expert)

Fulltime/Permanent Required Skills & Qualifications Utility & Regulatory Accounting Expertise (Core)

FERC Uniform System of Accounts:

Expert, hands-on knowledge of 18 CFR Part 101 and 18 CFR Part 201, with a clear understanding of how federal accounting structures govern cost-of-service utility ratemaking.

NJBPU Regulatory Knowledge:

Direct experience aligning general ledger structures with NJBPU Annual Report formatting and state-specific regulatory deferral/rider mechanisms.

Nuclear Asset Familiarity:

Practical experience dealing with the accounting complexities of nuclear generation assets, including decommissioning funds and 10 CFR Part 810 compliance environments.

Regulatory Reporting Output:

Familiarity with data structures required to automate the output of FERC Form 1, Form 2, and localized state compliance schedules.

SAP S/4HANA

Functional & Technical Literacy Specification Review:

Proven experience acting as an owner's representative or advisor, holding system integrators accountable by spotting design deficiencies or compliance shortcuts in functional documents. S/4

HANA Architecture:

Strong functional understanding of the S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel accounting ledgers, and Asset Accounting (FI-AA).

Migration Mechanics:
