POSITION:
ACCOUNTANT / CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS ANALYST GOAL
Assist the Business Administrator with the accounting operations of the school district, analysis of district budget and budget preparation support, and the preparation and submission of required reports.

Business Administrator / Board Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in accounting or business strongly preferred; appropriate experience can be substituted for degree. Detailed knowledge of computer operations and school district accounting systems/software preferred Ability/experience in all phases of accounting; experience in GAAP accounting preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required Strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills required. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills required. Minimum of two years' successful work experience in a similar position, preferably in a school district environment, required. Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare monthly analysis and reconciliations of bank accounts Record revenue in budget software from bank deposit information Assist the Business Administrator in the preparation of support and documentation for district budget. Assist the Business Administrator and department staff in preparing for the annual financial statement audit. Assist the Business Administrator in data collection, preparation of state reporting (ASSA, DRTRS, etc) Submit and track reimbursement requests for federal and state grant expenditures Maintain fixed assets inventory. Record and analyze monthly financial activity in the district's accounting system. Assist in preparation and submission of state and federal reports. Assist other members of the department as necessary, and as approved by the Business Administrator, in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department
TERMS:
12 Months; Salary, terms and conditions as per negotiated contract Salary range : $60,000 to $85,000
