We're looking for a strategic and analytical Business Analyst to join our Rental Business Unit based in our Teaneck, NJ office. In this role, you'll partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Product, Support, and Data teams to drive business performance, operational efficiency, and scalable growth through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with customers and external stakeholders, helping shape both operational strategy and client experience while influencing key business decisions across the organization. A day in the life and how you'll make an impact: Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Product, Support, and Data teams to identify business opportunities, operational gaps, and scalable solutions. Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and actionable insights that drive business performance and customer outcomes. Build and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational scorecards using SQL, Looker, BigQuery, and other BI tools. Lead ROI analysis, forecasting, business case development, and operational performance reviews to support strategic initiatives. Drive process optimization across operational, customer support, and financial workflows to improve efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with Product and Data teams on ETL processes, reporting requirements, and data quality initiatives. Present clear, concise, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams. Support strategic decision-making by translating complex analytical findings into practical business actions. Partner directly with customers and external stakeholders, offering a unique customer-facing opportunity to influence both operational strategy and client experience. Help establish scalable reporting frameworks, operational best practices, and performance measurement standards as the Rental Business Unit continues to grow. Requirements 5+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or business intelligence roles. Strong communication skills with both managers and customers. Strong proficiency in SQL 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy & Operations, or related analytical roles. Advanced SQL skills and experience with Looker, BigQuery, or similar BI/data warehouse tools. Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting frameworks, and data visualizations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels. Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Experience with operational analytics, process optimization, and ROI/financial analysis. Familiarity with ETL processes, data governance, and data quality best practices. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Experience in automotive, rental, mobility, fleet management, fintech, SaaS, or operationally focused environments preferred.

Compensation:

UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.
