$85,527 - $104,533 Annually West Valley Cleanup Alliance is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1B Deactivation & Demolition Contract at the West Valley Demonstration Project site. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, West Valley Demonstration Project continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site. Job Summary / Purpose of Position The Business Performance Analyst II performs activities in support of functions such as budgeting, procurement, and administrative tasks, and maintains documented records to ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations. Minimum Qualifications A.
Education / Experience
BA/BS in business, construction management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of four (4) years related experience B. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in cost/finance analysis and reporting tools Experience in project management or project controls C. Other Requirements Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups, pivot tables, and Power BI All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Major Responsibilities / Scope of Work Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures Adhere to standards contained in the Company Code of Conduct, EEO practices, and DOE directives Create and generate special or routine reports using advanced computer applications Prepare monthly variance reporting and performance metrics Gather and compile financial information for budget planning and analysis Perform complex administrative technical tasks using advanced methods Work under minimal supervision and establish own schedule and priorities Allocate and forecast operational and project costs to measure contract performance Create and maintain accurate records and files Track project progress and maintain project documentation Ensure training and qualifications are up to date; attend workshops and participate in professional societies Essential Functions Detect and analyze variances and guide preparation of risk management plans Analyze, forecast, and recommend actions based on findings Prepare, edit, and provide input for accurate documents, reports, and forms Present complex analytical material concisely using visualizations where applicable Interact professionally with employees, vendors, clients, and others Use judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines and procedures Follow detailed written and verbal instructions from management Regular onsite attendance is required An Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
