Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to support HR systems operations and data integrity in Westerville, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining reliable HR information, investigating system issues, and partnering with stakeholders to turn business needs into clear functional requirements. The role is well suited for someone who can balance analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor HR system data for accuracy by performing regular audits, researching discrepancies, and helping maintain compliance with established standards.
- Investigate system and integration issues, resolve routine problems, and escalate more complex matters to the appropriate teams when needed.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand workflows, process gaps, and automation opportunities, then document clear and organized business requirements.
- Prepare ad hoc reports, support large-scale data updates, and validate information to ensure reporting outputs are dependable and complete.
- Assist with system configuration activities, ongoing maintenance tasks, and setup changes that support HR operational needs.
- Track open issues, project concerns, and potential risks while helping coordinate follow-up actions and status communication.
- Contribute to prioritization discussions by evaluating business impact, urgency, and effort associated with requested changes or enhancements.
- Support project governance and planning activities, including documenting needs, estimating effort, and aligning deliverables with business objectives. Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, HR systems support, HRIS, or a related functional area.
- Working knowledge of HR data validation, auditing practices, and issue resolution within enterprise systems.
- Experience gathering business needs and converting them into structured requirement documents.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and organize work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships across user groups and support teams.
- Familiarity with reporting, data analysis, mass data updates, and process improvement activities.
- Understanding of project coordination, governance practices, risk tracking, and issue management principles.
