D365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance domain implementations, business process analysis, functional consulting, and application support. This role will work closely with business users and stakeholders to deliver effective ERP solutions aligned with operational and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and understand client business processes to design and implement effective business solutions. Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central solutions based on business and functional requirements. Lead and support full lifecycle implementations of D365 Business Central and NAV solutions. Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis and Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify issues and implement suitable solutions. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support and ensure SLA-based incident resolution. Support NAV and D365 Business Central application maintenance and ongoing operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements, interface optimization, and enhancement of Dynamics NAV functionalities. Define and support enhancements related to reports, workflows, forms, and business processes. Perform solution testing to ensure business acceptance and functional accuracy. Prepare user reference materials and provide usability guidance and end-user training. Participate in master data validation, go-live activities, post-go-live support, and user adoption initiatives. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. Work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams to mitigate project risks and ensure successful delivery. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. Strong expertise in D365 Business Central Finance modules. Experience with a minimum of 2-3 full lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central solutions. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (MBA, CA, BE, B.Sc., or B.Com preferred). Strong understanding of finance domain processes and ERP implementations. Experience in functional consulting, business analysis, and solution configuration. Hands-on experience in application support, incident management, and operational support activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions. Experience with solution testing, business process improvements, and user training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation, documentation, interpersonal, and training skills. Ability to interact effectively with domestic and global customers. Flexibility to work in shifts and travel domestically or internationally as required. Preferred Qualifications Awareness or experience with Microsoft Sure Step Methodology. Current Microsoft Dynamics certifications or willingness to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
