Job Description

Position Overview:
The Business Control Analyst will ensure business processes are documented, implemented, and adhered to. The position will develop processes and procedures to monitor inventory movement to ensure efficiency and cost savings. The position will communicate discrepancies to key stakeholders to drive desired outcomes. Key tasks will include reconciling and organizing inventory/order reports, validating invoices, documenting processes and procedures, and preparing warehousing, logistics, and production reports. This position will support the Logistics Department to efficiently coordinate the movement of finished goods to ensure the highest level of customer service is met. The ideal candidate for this position will have relative work experience with production planning, inventory control, logistics, procurement, or a finance background. The Business Control Analyst will have sound communication skills, have a passion for business, and be able to solve problems by applying analysis. Responsibilities:
Analyze and reconcile hold in-transit inventory positions. Analyze and reconcile inventory levels to ensure compliance with Hometown Food Company goals. Maintain inventory adjustment records to ensure data integrity is not compromised. Maintain PO records with co-manufacturers. Track production attainment and RM consumption. Analyze transfer orders and prioritize based on shortage potential and customer demand. Understand planning roles in the Supply Chain Department and support as needed. Generate monthly inventory report with KPI's. Maintain and check cycle count reports. Support business and quality procedures. Direct 3pl's to ensure compliance. Analyze and set inventory targets (RM and FG) Identify and action process improvements and cost savings opportunities. Liaison with Quality, Milton Plant and Co-manufacturers to quickly address quality issues. Report on a timely basis to key internal and external stakeholders Connecting to data sources in databases or file folders, with files named for process flow/archive. Use of tools like power query to transform data (excel) or MS access (import/export, query, join, macro) Building data models with relations, basic understanding of structural goals DAX language basics for in-pivot calculation A focus on integration points for data instead of functional input options Perform other assigned duties and projects assigned.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Required:
Supply Chain Management or equivalent preferred. APICs certification a plus 1-5 years' experience preferred in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Planning / Operations 1 year of inventory management experience. Working knowledge of D365 is strongly desired. Power
BI / ERP
experience / Sigma reporting / Stock IQ. Strong organization skills. Project oriented. Effective communication skills. Basic understanding of inventory fundamentals. Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Strong negotiations skills.
