This is not a traditional requirements-focused Business Analyst role. This position is responsible for enabling business teams to build, automate, and scale solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot capabilities. This role will lead and support Cascade's Build & Automate Academy, empowering employees to transition from manual, Excel-driven work to standardized, automated solutions. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, proactive, and not satisfied with simply delivering the requested solution—they seek to understand the root problem and identify scalable, long-term improvements. Responsibilities Technology Adoption & Enablement Drive adoption of Microsoft technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot) across business units Translate technical capabilities into practical, business-focused use cases Coach and guide users to adopt automated workflows and modern tools in their daily work Reinforce long-term adoption through training, support, and continuous engagement Build & Automate Academy Execution Facilitate hands-on Build & Automate Academy sessions focused on real business solutions Guide employees in designing and building applications and workflows that improve operations Develop and maintain reusable templates, starter solutions, and training materials Support a pipeline of business-led solutions across departments Process Improvement & Transformation Analyze current-state processes with a focus on identifying inefficiencies and manual work Redesign business processes using low-code/no-code tools Challenge initial requirements to uncover root causes and identify better, scalable solutions Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time Standardization & Governance Promote standardized, reusable solutions across the organization Ensure alignment with IT governance, security, and architecture standards Establish and maintain best practices for solution development and deployment Encourage a "build once, scale across teams" approach Solution Development & Support Partner with business users to prototype and co-build solutions Support development using Power Platform tools and SharePoint-based data sources Enable end-users to own and maintain the solutions they build Assist with troubleshooting, enhancements, and ongoing optimization Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with stakeholders across operations, HR, finance, and field teams Collaborate with IT to ensure alignment with data governance, security, and enterprise architecture Act as a trusted advisor for business process and technology improvement initiatives Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Demonstrated ability to communicate both technical and business concepts effectively Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) Preferred Exposure to Copilot or AI-enabled business tools Experience in change management, training, or user adoption initiatives Understanding of data governance and security concepts Key Competencies Business process analysis and redesign Technology adoption and user enablement Communication and facilitation skills Change management and influence Continuous improvement mindset Join us to be part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement!
