Business Analyst (IAM SailPoint & Mainframe Transformation)
Location :
Temple, TX 76504 (Hybrid) We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) transformation program involving SailPoint IdentityIQ and Mainframe (RACF) environments. The role focuses on requirements gathering, process analysis, and translating business needs into actionable functional specifications across identity source-of-truth implementation, lifecycle automation, and RBAC-driven access governance. Key Responsibilities (High-Level) Collaborate with business stakeholders, security teams, and technical teams to gather and document IAM requirements across multiple transformation areas. Analyse current-state identity processes including Workday-based identity sourcing, Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle, and mainframe security models. Document detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for SailPoint implementation and integration. Define and document identity data flows, attribute mappings, and transformation logic between Workday, SailPoint, Active Directory, and downstream systems. Support definition of identity correlation rules, identity attributes, and data quality requirements. Analyse existing lifecycle processes for employees, contractors, and non-human accounts to identify gaps and automation opportunities. Work with engineering teams to define requirements for: Lifecycle automation workflows Access request and approval flows Self-service capabilities Audit logging and compliance reporting Support onboarding of applications into SailPoint by documenting access models, roles, and entitlement structures. Work closely with mainframe SMEs to understand RACF security constructs and assist in mapping them to RBAC models. Assist in defining role models, entitlement structures, and access policies aligned with business needs. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement walkthroughs. Support testing activities including SIT and UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring requirement traceability. Assist in production cutover planning, validation, and business sign-offs. Technical Skills & Experience Core (Mandatory): Strong experience as a Business Analyst in IAM, security, or enterprise application transformation programs Good understanding of: Identity lifecycle management (JML) Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Access provisioning and governance Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and identity data Strong experience in requirement gathering, process modelling, and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories) Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Active Directory and business applications Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models Good to
