Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some schedule flexibility available as needed. Position is fully onsite during the contract period. After conversion to a permanent employee, eligible for a hybrid schedule with Wednesdays and approximately three onsite days per week.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams on a large-scale application development initiative. This individual will gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, create software development artifacts, and help ensure project objectives are successfully delivered. The ideal candidate will have experience working on data-driven or database-focused projects, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be comfortable operating within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business users, technical teams, and project leadership to identify and document business and system requirements Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to gather project needs and business objectives Analyze complex business processes and translate findings into actionable technical requirements Create and maintain documentation including functional requirements, process flows, workflow diagrams, use cases, test cases, and user stories Develop Epics and User Stories to support Agile development initiatives Collaborate with developers, architects, and subject matter experts to align business requirements with technical solutions Monitor requirements throughout the development lifecycle and manage updates as project needs evolve Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and software development teams Support testing efforts by validating requirements and assisting with test case development Contribute to user documentation, training materials, and project-related deliverables Manage multiple priorities and initiatives while maintaining strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 1-2+ years of experience supporting database, application development, or data-focused projects Experience documenting business and functional requirements Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar software development methodologies Experience creating Epics and User Stories Ability to develop use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, and test documentation Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership Self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
