SAP America, Inc. seeks a Principal Business Process Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.Expectations and Tasks:
Maps business processes to solution requirements. Champions and leads disruptive business innovation. Provides thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Plans transitions of customer solution landscapes. Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs. Supports pre-sales activities. Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies. Supports in escalated projects. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks. Delivers customer workshops and trainings. Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduces SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience. Drives the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio. Drives the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes. Mentors business process consultants. Education and OccupationalExperience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following: Deal Capture for Traders; Risk Accounting for Financial Derivatives; Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE); Hydrocarbon Supply chain (HVC); SAP Treasury and Risk Management; Analyzing Market Risk and Credit Risk; and Commodity Derivatives.Travel:

The annual base salary range for this position is $138,400 - $235,280. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $173,000 - $294,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
