Job Description

Firm Overview A global asset management firm in Connecticut is looking to expand their diverse and rapidly growing Product Strategy team. The firm has an AUM of over $800B and offers over 500 investment strategies. They are looking for a Product Strategy Senior Associate who will work directly with senior leadership to assist with strategic decision making. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is a great opportunity to gain exposure across different internal teams and all levels of seniority at the firm. Responsibilities This individual will create presentations and lead data analysis to support product development, expansion, and competitive advantage. They will also become a master of the firm's internal databases including Preqin, eVestment, and Factset, and will condense and outline market and industry trends. While working alongside senior leadership, this position is responsible for interpreting large data sets and large quantities of product information for alternative investments and mutual funds. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or business At least 3 years of experience working in investment management, asset management, or wealth management Strong understanding of capital markets, and the asset management and wealth management space Familiarity with mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs Strong data and excel skills Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with company leadership Compensation and Benefits Expected base compensation is $120,000-$140,000 Competitive benefits package including retirement, health, dental, life insurance, LTD, FSA 3 weeks of vacation Extensive family and medical leave Hybrid work schedule
